Tradesy values your privacy and is committed to protecting the limited information we collect. This Privacy Policy explains what data we gather at tradesytrade.com (the “Site”), why we gather it, and how we safeguard it. By using the Site or any related mobile or web applications (collectively, the “Services”), you accept the practices described below. If you disagree with any part of this Policy, please do not use the Services.

  • Essential Cookie: tradesy_session (first-party; keeps you securely signed in)

We do not collect government IDs, precise geolocation, sensitive personal data, or any information from third-party trackers or advertising networks.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide and maintain the Services – enable account creation, display trades, route messages, and optionally display your chosen profile picture.
  • Secure the platform – authenticate users, detect fraud, and enforce our Terms of Service.
  • Communicate with you – send essential service notices such as password resets and trade updates.

We never sell, rent, or share your data with marketers or other outside entities.

4. Sharing and Disclosure

  • Service providers (e.g., cloud hosting, email delivery) – operate core infrastructure on our behalf (bound by contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations).

Your personal contact details are never displayed publicly on the Site.

Account data: Retained while your account remains active. If you delete your account, we erase or de-identify personal data — including profile pictures — within 30 days unless needed for legal obligations or dispute resolution.

Back-ups: Encrypted backups rotate on a 90-day cycle, after which they are automatically purged.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:

Our servers are located in the United States. By using the Services from outside the U.S., you consent to the transfer of your data to the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.
